Anthony's Green Smoothie

My grandson, Anthony is learning young to be a healthy little boy.
Well, it helps that his dad works for the Vita Mix Corporation.
When Anthony gets up from his first nap of the day his mommy asks him if he
wants a smoothie and he squeals with delight and excitement!! 
He can hardly wait for her to get the spinach and kale out of the fridge!

I must say: Josh & Kathryn are VERY SMART parents to give Anthony smoothies!!
 Not just any smoothie either but, a GREEN smoothie!! A little bit of yummy fruit is added too so, it tastes fruity ... it just doesn't LOOK fruity!! 
Anthony even insists on helping with the tamper-stick.

I mean, most kids wouldn't dream of having a smoothie for a snack when they get up from their nap!! (more like peanut butter & jelly with potato chips??)

He's not only cute and sweet 

~ and I love to hug him ~ 

but he's smart too; 

he loves the taste of spinach and kale!!

Here's his recipe; I don't think his mommy & daddy will mind:

Anthony's Green Smoothie

Fill blender jar 3/4 full of fresh kale & spinach

Add any fresh or frozen fruit you desire:

(pineapple, strawberries, blueberries)

Add ice.

Blend thoroughly & serve.

Karen & Hal are both involved in music ... music of every kind!  They each play AND teach different instruments. 
Karen even gives voice lessons.

I met Karen when I took piano lessons from her a couple of years ago.  I've been impressed with her in every single way since that first day!! She's beautiful both inside and out and has talent that just doesn't quit!

They have been married nearly 30 years and have seven children!!  Karen has patiently home-schooled their kids and I know that they both are and have been great influences and examples to all of them.

It was more than obvious to me during our photo session together that even after their having been married so long,  they  still have crazy mad love for each other. They were really cute, fun and flirty during our time together.

I'm IMPRESSED by everything these two do and think that everyone should pattern their lives after this awesome pair!!

I had a really fun time taking their photo's and hope to get the chance to do it again someday! *THANKS GUYS*

One of my very VERY fav things to do when I'm on a road trip or a
photo trip is to look for cool, neat, old SIGNS.
There's so much history behind an old sign; so many stories I wish
I knew but probably never will. I can only imagine and dream and then keep
looking and shooting. I'm getting quite a collection. One of my photography friends suggested
that maybe I should compile a BOOK.
GREAT IDEA!! I'll have to seriously think about that!
