I always suggest NO lettering on shirts - that's MY opinion - but, some clients might WANT that so, I go along with it, but within reason. I prefer earth tones OR bright, bold colors.
Fun and cute accessories/hats/jewelry are always welcome. Let's get CREATIVE!
As far as location goes ... something that will allow good lighting and a nice array of possibilties for what comes natural during our session. I love candids and prefer not to do too much 'posing'. Sometimes it works but, I prefer what we can do NATURALLY.
Rustic is one of my fav's; buildings, fences and even old vehicles. Great walls with lots of color and texture. I really like a location where there are long grasses or dried weeds and fences. Southern Utah has a never ending array of choices for your photo location and they change dramatically from season to season.
... There's a lot to think about, even before the shoot happens so, put some thought into it so you'll be satisfied with the total end result.
Keep in mind that your location and clothing color combination should "go" but, not necessarily "match."
